So nice to hear from you. I had a wonderful time at your farm and so impressed with all you do to keep your oasis running. Loved it all. I did sign up for the Slow Food Charlotte. Was there another group I was suppose to join? Good to know there is still hope for me to win the jamming session. :)
Thank you so much for your hospitality! Loved meeting you and getting a tour of your farm. It was so beautiful. You should be proud of all the work you do.
I did join Slow Food as an official member yesterday. I was a little unclear how to select Charlotte as my convivium. I called the Slow Food home office to verify that I was set up correctly and that the money would go to the Charlotte chapter. I received an email back from them stating that it would. Let me know if it doesn't show up that way, and I will call again.
Keeping my fingers crossed to win the jamming session with you!
Sadly I think the screening in Durham was the closest theatre where the film will be shown. At least that's how it appears right now. But maybe it will get the reviews it deserves and will have a broader distribution than they anticipate. It received a standing ovation in Durham--its an amazing film! I was trying, in my charming manner, to get you to be my friend. And it worked! Now I'm part of the in crowd. And by the way, I did happen to be dancing in the compost pile when I wrote that. Not that it's anyone's business.
