Natalie Veres will speak at the April 1st meeting of HAWK. Natalie Veres is a farmer and an owner of Grateful Growers Farm in Denver, NC. Grateful Growers produces pork and poultry products using humane and sustainable farming techniques. Their pigs and poultry roam the farm while enjoying a natural diet free of pesticides, fertilizers, hormones or antibiotics. Ms. Veres will speak about her experiences as a farmer and the importance of buying wholesome, locally raised food.

The meeting starts at 7pm at the Matthews Community Center at 100 McDowell Street in Matthews. The meeting is free and open to everyone.
