Andy, are you the one who tweeted looking for knitters? If so, contact me. There's a club in Matthews and although I don't knit, I know a few of those who do. If its for a good cause, I bet they would be interested
Great to see you guy's last night, it was a nice evening and a great meal! Thanks to everyone who put it together. Andy Geny and I loved the pic's and I got a good giggle out of the caption :) on Genys shot, thanks!
Andy, are there guidelines for posting events on this site? If possible, I'd like to post an event about an author we are bringing to town. Not related to SF necessarily but he's very popular with gardeners and those who haven't heard of him, should hear his message. I wasn't sure how strict this site was about staying on topic. Let me know. http://tix.cpcc.edu/featured-performances/Bringing_Nature_Home
Andy, we LOVED the truffles we got from you guys at the Matthews Farmers Market. Can you reuse the boxes? We saved ours just in case. Too pretty to throw it away and since the chocolates are in their own little cup, wondered if it could be recycled by you guys.
Andy, I tried to upload a Bob Edwards/Michael Pollan podcast and it didn't like that it was no an mp3. So I just put a link to the archive online and doesn't like that either. And now I can't figure out how to delete it. Help! I know just enough to be dangerous
Hi Andy, it was great meeting you at the SF fundraiser. I am starting to set up the lake norman slow food chapter and would like to link us to the charlotte web site, as we spoke about. what would be the best way to do that? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Regina
Hi Andy.
It was very nice meeting you, your wife and all the other members of Slow Food Charlotte last night.
I think that the event was wonderful and everybody was so nice!
Let me know if you can teach me a different way how to get in touch with a member other that leaving a comment on the comment wall. Thanks.
Ciao, Fabio
Andy,
Its the 11th hour but I wanted to add the meeting notice for the HAWK/Grateful Growers meeting on Tuesday to the calendar but couldn't figure out how to do it. I'm including the info if you have time to do it. Sorry for the late notice!
April HAWK Meeting
Natalie Veres will speak at the April 1st meeting of HAWK. Natalie Veres is a farmer and an owner of Grateful Growers Farm in Denver, NC. Grateful Growers produces pork and poultry products using humane and sustainable farming techniques. Their pigs and poultry roam the farm while enjoying a natural diet free of pesticides, fertilizers, hormones or antibiotics. Ms. Veres will speak about her experiences as a farmer and the importance of buying wholesome, locally raised food.
The meeting starts at 7pm at the Matthews Community Center at 100 McDowell Street in Matthews. The meeting is free and open to everyone. Come and join us to hear about life on a pig farm and learn about the benefits of buying locally produce foods. For more information, www.habitatsteward.org or call 704 814 0877

We picked up a virus so my husband changed the browser because I told him what you said (internet distroyer).
what do you mean by a different browser? I still have not had any luck the regular way but haven't tried this week. I will try now. But let me know what you mean by diff. browser if my pic. has not changed! THANKS! :-)
Well, I would have been here sooner, but I kept waiting for Slow Food's main office to notice the membership application I sent in a year ago. Finally gave up and signed up again. I'm supposed to get a new sig picture next week, so I'll wait and figure out how to fill in the Gray Head then.
