Grilled Portobello Mushrooms With Red Wine Reduction

For the Sherry Vinegar Marinade:

1 cup aged sherry vinegar

1 Tbsp. whole black peppercorn

4 fresh bay leaves, julienned

5 sprigs fresh thyme

6 garlic cloves, slivered

1 Tbsp. kosher salt

1 cup olive oil

The CEFS 10% Campaign Kicks off in Charlotte August 17th to Encourage Local Food Consumption (at Atherton Market)

Local food and the local economy are about to get a local boost. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Food Policy Council is organizing a festive and informative event on Tuesday, August 17th from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at the Atherton Market at Atherton Mill to kick off the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) 10% Campaign in the Charlotte area.
