Weed!!! at Shamrock Gardens Elementary School

Come on out to Shamrock and see what we are doing with our new garden beds! While there, feel free to pull a few weeds. Killing bermuda grass is a great way to release frustration, burn some calories, and help out some really cute little kids. Prizes of dubious monetary value will be given!

Shamrock at Fuel and Earth Fare Updates
Big fun for the kids attending the Shamrock Summer Camp this morning. Thanks to the generosity of the folks at Fuel Pizza, our kids got to make whole wheat crust pizzas using some of the vegetables and herbs that they have been growing!Before boarding the buses for their field trip to Fuel, the kids were able to harvest an eggplant, some Shamrock Gold cherry tomatoes, basil, rosemary, marjoram, onion and garlic chives, and parsley. They don't get much business for the cooking classes so there's a good chance it might be cancelled that night. I'll know a few days before the class whether or not Im doing it. So siked you are coming Wed to the Ratcliffe dinner! Your carrot comment is more appreciated than you may know. We have struggled for years to get the soil right to produce sweet carrots and finally this year I was really satisfied! We always had an easy abundance but not the perfect taste. I have tweaked again a little for next year in the hopes of awesome!
