I am going to add you as a friend so we can email easier. To answer your question, there is a lot you and your group can do. We are usually in the garden during the week over the summer because that is when we can get in the building (the garden is in the inner school courtyard) but during the year we can plan some big work days on weekends. There are also lots of ways to get involved with garden planning, fundraising, lesson planning, special projects. etc. I will fill you in on all of that in email, or I will give you my number and we can talk!
Good to see you here! I am going to try and post often for the Food fod Thought group to keep everyone up to date on what is going on. Contact me, or Cary or Amy, if you have any questions about anything, or would like to volunteer for a particular activity/job. Cary Probst is heading up our nutrition activities, and Amy Hayes is overseeing the garden.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
