- I love good food, and, to me, all good food comes from fresh, pure, and local ingredients. I have just returned to Charlotte after living other places for over 24 years. I have been interested in the Slow Food movement for a few years and was inspired when I heard Carlo Petrini speak at NC State last year. I am also a writer and photographer, ready to profile local growers who are interested in getting their message out to the public.
