I'm a long time gardening enthusiast. I became a certified Master Gardener and Certified Food Preservation Specialist in Minnesota. I've done a work share at Laughing Owl Farm and Poplar Ridge Farm (3 seasons) and self published a Shutterfly book about that experience called, "My Four Years Working with Two Organic Farms in North Carolina", August 2013. I enjoy photography, reading, writing and food preparation. I'm a Certified Natural Health Professional since 2003 and am still taking classes. I took the 2 day training from the Raw Foods Institute in May, 2013. I work as a Field Tech doing pre engineering for as built and new build cable tv and telephone projects, part time.
Based on the following, I try to eat 60% raw so enjoy salads, juicing, sprouts, good fats and am constantly trying new recipes. One of my current favorite uncook books is "The Healthiest Meals on Earth by Jonny Bowden, PhD, which also has some great cooked recipes. I try to practice food combining and believe good quality water is essential for good health.
