I am passionate about living an art-full life. For me, that extends into what I choose to eat and the meals I cook. Local food makes sense to me on so many levels. This summer I finally learned the art of canning, which has been a blessing this long and cold winter season. My husband and I took our local foodie status to a whole new level recently by deciding to join the growing movement of city chicken owners. Our lovely girls have grown up to give us fresh, organic, soy-free and incredibly local eggs... yum!
Anything green! Collards, spinach and arugula are favorites... and I cannot live without our weekly pizza night. Hot thin crust pizza topped with whatever is in season~ so simple, so good!
