Comment by Don Rosenberg on March 21, 2013 at 5:21pm Hi Paula,
I can save you a LOT of time and effort!
A lot of what people have been told is based on older models of gardens. 400 square foot in ground gardens using existing soil. I advocate raised beds using new soil and organic fertilizers. I can help you further in many ways. I have two books on making gardening easy. I do consulting. I have lots of info on my website. I sell fabric raised beds you can set up yourself in minutes. And I build gardens for you.

Comment by Paula Manser on March 21, 2013 at 5:14pm Hi Don!
I grew up in a home where my Dad grew many fruits and vegetables almost every year. Now that I am married and in our own home, I want to start my own garden. I have ordered non-gmo, organic seeds. I also bought a starter kit to start by planting the seeds indoors then transfer them outdoors (as was recommended since our soil is not warm yet).
Is this a good way to start out? The website said that it is best to start growing the seeds indoors then the transfer will be better once they are planted in the soil. I am wondering if I should just wait to plant the seeds outside? Thanks for the help.
Paula
