Which food writers do you like to read? I have been reading "Honey from a weed" by Patience Gray lately and really like the way she mixes food and simple daily life of a stone cutter. It is not a straight up cook book or a biography but some where in between.

My husband and I just moved from Raleigh NC and we are looking for like minded people we are looking for foodies and people that like to dine and use local and seasonal products
