Slow Food Charlotte was selected as the 2010 Women’s Impact Fund Environmental category recipient.  Slow Food Charlotte will receive a grant of $70,000 to build a network of community, school, faith based & private gardens to grow food for Friendship Trays, the Charlotte meals-on-wheels program. 

Look for volunteer opportunities later this summer and in the coming years.  Remember you can change the world one meal at a time.  Vote with your fork, early and often.
