GO Local NC Farms! Group Ordering from Local Farms
I have started a buyer's club that takes a group order and places the order with a couple of local farms -- Creekside Farms (Cabarrus County) and Windy Hill Farm (Stanly County). We have a website up and do online ordering. Bi-weekly pickups are at our home in Cabarrus County (off of Mt. Pleasant Road) and at the Norwood Garden Center 8837 Albemarle Road, Charlotte.
As a buyer, you are buying from the farm and GO Local NC Farms, LLC is simply providing the service of order facilitation and pickup. In addition to our bi-weekly orders of chicken, beef, pork, lamb and eggs, we provide cowpooling services and pork pooling services 3-4 times each year.
There are no membership fees, no minimum order, and plenty of great farm fresh products.

I wanted to add ... we are doing pork pooling right now in addition to our bi-weekly pickups. Due to the delivery of cowpooling orders and porkpooling orders, we will be doing our bi-weekly pickup locations weekly through November 20th. The pickup locations and times:
Our Home -- off of Mt. Pleasant Road S, Concord from 9:30-10:30
Norwood Garden Center -- 8837 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC from 2:00-3:00

Mountain Island Lake: North Point Community Church Office - 10220 Coulouk Dr, Charlotte
South Charlotte: Rainbow Station Preschool - 9829 Providence Road West, Charlotte
Cowpooling ordering will start January 1, 2011.
