I'd like to personally invite members and allies of Slow Food Charlotte to Carolina Farm Stewardship Association's upcoming Sustainable Agriculture Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville from October 26-28. In addition to workshops about beginning farming, farm business, horticulture, livestock, and policy issues, this year's conference includes a wealth of information about eating locally, including a dedicated "Foodie Track" of workshops in each session.
