Event: "Charlotte Food for Thought" Dinner with Shamrock Garden Elementary
Thursday, February 28th, 2008
The dinner starts at 6:30 pm, but we will be getting started at the school around 4:30 pm, so if you volunteered to come help out (or if you didn’t volunteer but can now be there) we will be in the school cafeteria. We realize that some of you may not be available that early, so just come when you can!

What we will be doing that night:
Cooking the pasta, reheating the sauce, putting together a salad and dressing, prepping bread, olive oil, butter and cookies, and making ice tea.
After we serve the dinner, a simple garden activity is planned for which we could also use help.

The event was a great success. Thanks to all who put their time in volunteering, donating food, planning and engaging activites, and more. I put together a quick picture slideshow from the night.
