 Labor Day, September 7, 2009 from 5 until 8 PM at Common Market South.
  We will have beef brisket style bbq, slaw and veggie pizzas and the C
 ommon Market has beverages galore. Bring a salad, bring a dish or just
  show up and fend for yourself.\n\nCome join us on your way back from 
 your holiday. Come join us if you never left. Join the community and s
 ign the online petition to make a difference for the nutrition of our 
 kids in school.\n\nWhy? It’s about our children.\n\nThe Child Nutrit
 ion Act is a federal law that comes up for reauthorization in Congress
  every four to five years. It governs the National School Lunch Progra
 m, which sets the standard for the food that more than 30 million chil
 dren eat every school day.\n\nIn the last few decades, as school budge
 ts have been cut, our nation's schools have struggled to serve childre
 n the real food they need.\n\nThe deadline for reauthorizing the curre
 nt Child Nutrition Act is September 2009. Unless we speak up this summ
 er, “business as usual” on Capitol Hill will let Congress pass a C
 hild Nutrition Act that continues to fail our children.\n\nCome join u
