 m to Table Dinner!\n \nOnce again superb farm fresh cuisine will be p
 repared by a Johnson and Wales University trained chef.\n \nChef Thom
 as, new to Charlotte, comes to us with a degree in the Culinary Arts a
 nd in Culinary Nutrition. In 1994, when we began the planning of an ed
 ucationally based organic farm with an emphasis on health, nutrition, 
 and lifestyle we also began the search for local chefs that shared our
  vision.  We have great admiration for the chefs that have created ou
 r wonderful meals under the stars.\n \nPoplar Ridge Farm has proudly 
 adopted Chef Thomas Carrig as our weekly ‘go to’ advisor.  He is 
 willing to brainstorm with our owner, Marianne Battistone on new recip
 es, coach our interns, and walk our fields.\n \nHis experiences as a 
 Sous Chef at the Duke University Diet & Fitness Center in Durham, NC, 
 as an Executive Chef at the Wellness Center in the Outer Banks, and no
 w on his own as a personal chef and consultant have all been a perfect
  fit for our mission at Poplar Ridge Farm.\n \nIn addition, he was an
  engaging presenter at the Durham Farmers Market and now entertains ou
 r guests as a presenter at our Poplar Ridge Farm Tours.  At our next 
 tour, September 15th 1:00p to 6:00p, he will be demonstrating his cook
 ing techniques and offering tastings at 1:30p.\n \nThe four course si
 t-down dinner with Chef Thomas on Saturday, September 29th will be ano
 ther wonderful evening!\n \n$90 per person online until September 22,
  $85 per person via check mailed/received by August 29.\n \nCancellat
