Poplar Ridge Farm will host its fifth and last Farm Tour and Open House of the year from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, September 18.

PRF offers farm tours each year in February, March, April, May and September. Each open house is unique because our guests can witness the seasonal farming process, meet different chefs and purchase a variety of produce.

Farm owner Marianne Battistone will lead guests on tours of the farm at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., discussing the farm's unique CSA-based business model as well as organic growing methods.

During this open house, we will be joined by local chef Joanna Virkler. She will sell ‘to-go’ lunches made with fresh PRF produce and discuss her recipes and cooking.

Visitors will additionally be able to purchase PRF produce, Bakers Blessings's bread, Fresh Direct's grade-A local eggs, Bosky Acres’ goat cheese, and two varieties of New Town Farms’ pasture raised whole chickens.

Admission is $10 per car, which can be applied to any Farm Day purchase.
