Spend an evening at Poplar Ridge Farm!
Our June 22 dinner will feature Carpe Diem Restaurant.
Carpe Diem Restaurant will bring its continual focus on local cuisine and fine dining to our farm for the second year in a row.
June 22 Speaker will be Greg Pillar, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Chemistry, and Chair of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Queens University of Charlotte.
The event will be from 6:15 pm - 9:30 pm for up to 50 attendees in our farm pavilion and outdoor dining area.
Each dinner will include a wonderful dining experience with seasonal vegetables from the farm!
Vegan and vegetarian menus always available.
A FOUR COURSE SIT DOWN DINNER AND COOKING DEMONSTRATION
Chefs from Carpe Diem Restaurant will prepare our meal and demonstrate technique and recipes using Poplar Ridge Farm produce from that week’s harvest. There is a wine tasting with each course.
A GUEST SPEAKER
Speakers at our events address various topics related to the environment and health.
Topics may include sustainable agriculture,
conservation, nutrition, global and local food policy,
farming, gardening, and more.
Our speakers and Poplar Ridge Farm staff dine with us and encourage lively discussions.
Tickets are $90 per person online, $85 per person via mailed check one month in advance.
CSA members receive a $5 discount!
