Poplar Ridge Farm to host two September Farm to Table Dinners
Spend an evening at Poplar Ridge Farm! Poplar Ridge Farm is a small, family-owned, USDA certified organic farm located just south of Charlotte in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
Each year we host 6-8 elegant Farm to Table Dinners with area chefs and guest speakers, and our next events are just around the corner!
On September 15th, Chef Jamie Lynch of Barrington’s Restaurant in Charlotte and Chef Hollace Stephenson of TasteMakers of Charlotte will work together to prepare a fabulous meal using farm-fresh produce and local partner-farmer products. Both chefs are renowned for their savory creative dishes and ability to transform the ordinary into extraordinary.
This dinner will also feature a presentation by Registered Dietitian, Allison Mignery, who will speak about "What Everyone Should Know about Food Policy," highlighting the importance of state-designed food policy and offering guests the opportunity to discuss ways to become involved in the community. Don’t miss out!
On September 29th, Chef Paul Ketterhagen of Carpe Diem Restaurant of Charlotte will combine style and flavor to create a four-course meal using PRF produce and partner-farmer products.
Each dinner and discussion will take place from 6:15 until 9:30 p.m. in our elegant farm pavilion. We hope you’ll be able to join us!
