Neal Kinsey Soil Fertility Workshop
(Free to Farmers)
Slow Food Charlotte is sponsoring a Soil Fertility Workshop presented by Neal Kinsey. Neal wrote the book Hands on Agronomy and has been a key speaker at Acres USA conferences for many years. He travels the world consulting farms and giving educational workshops.
This spring Slow Food Charlotte started a Farmers Fund to bring educational forums to our sustainable farmers in North and South Carolina and beyond. This is the first of what we hope will be many farmer driven educational events.
Please join us for this comprehensive 3-day workshop 8 am - 5 pm on August 22, 23, & 24, 2011 hosted by NC Cabarrus County Extension.
The workshop is FREE to our farmers, however we are charging a $65.00 fee for 3 catered lunches & 3 catered morning breaks utilizing . . . of course . . . sustainable locally produced food. Receipt of this fee with your registration form will ensure your commitment to attend. Space is limited so register as early as possible.
There are some seats available to non full time farmers, though the cost will be $200, which includes your meals. Please inquire to Geny Case to check availability.
If interested please request a registration form from Geny Case at the contact address below. That form and a check made payable to Slow Food Charlotte will secure your spot. You will receive a confirmation email when your information is received.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Geny Case at firstname.lastname@example.org, preferably, or at 704-843-0498.
