DESCRIPTION:Contrary to what we were raised to believe, and witness, s
 quash is not primarily made up of eggs and cheese or sugar and more su
 gar.  Nor, in this case, is it a racquet sport; cause that would just
  be wrong to julienne your squash in a sweaty environment.  \nSquash 
 is an early summer vegetable with an enthusiasm for expansion that riv
 als the big bang theory.  It is rumored that the squash can magically
  grow from finger size to the approximate length and girth of a speed 
 skaters thigh in the matter of twenty four hours.  \n \nYou can fry
  it but you can’t deny it. \nYou can soufflé it but you can’t be
 tray it.\nYou can bake it but you can’t fake it.\nYou can grill it b
 ut you can’t distill it.\n \nWhat does this have to do with potluck
 ing?  Everything and nothing.  Bring a dish, squash or otherwise, an
 d bring your “it’s full on summer” attitude cause the time is ri
 ght for potluck in the city.  Rules you ask…? \nYou can’t say yo
 u’re sorry\nand you should attempt to prepare food raised or grown a
 round here… come on it’s high summer, never will it be easier that
  it is right now! \n \nBring your own beverage and a big ole smile.\
