 ps will be taught Danny Williamson of Tampa, Kansas. Danny breeds Stan
 dard Bred poultry for production and show. He currently maintains bree
 ding flocks of 400 Black turkeys, 300 Plymouth Rock chickens, as well 
 as Cornish, Dark Brahma chickens, and White call ducks. Danny is a gen
 eral license judge for the American Poultry Association and has earned
  the title of Grand Master Breeder in Black turkeys, Standard Dark Bra
 hma chickens, and White Call ducks. He serves on the Board of Director
 s and is employed as the General Manager and Chief Financial Officer o
 f Good Shepherd Turkey Ranch, Inc. With his good friend and mentor Fra
 nk Reese, Danny is working to revive interest in and use of Standard B
 red poultry by producing high quality market birds, judging and throug
 h public education.\n\nThe American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (ALBC
 ) has been working to conserve endangered breeds of livestock and poul
 try since 1977. In 1997 ALBC began a significant conservation effort f
 or Standard turkeys. In the intervening years, the breeding population
  of standard turkeys has increased from 1300 to nearly 10,500. Marjori
 e Bender, ALBCâ€™s Research & Technical Program Director, has provided
  leadership throughout most of this projectâ€™s history. She will serv
 e as workshop facilitator. ALBC continues to support the survival of t
 he Standard turkeys through education, promotion, and on-going monitor
