Make something from grandma’s cookbook;
be that a secret family recipe,
a guarded personal secret,
forgiveness in a casserole,
persuasion in a pie,
the confluence of culinary influence (sans the cream of mushroom soup).
Trot out those old chestnuts and source them with local ingredients wherever possible. Remember tradition is the catalog of stuff that works so let’s embrace the traditions of our family’s food history and gather for some fun. What better way to spend a summer evening, ok, really late spring, but at the height of firefly season. With any luck we will have a light show as a flickering backdrop to a grand evening at Mike and Blair Stanford’s home. Come join us, we’d love to get to know you better.
