Yes it’s a trying time of the year for those skittish amongst us.  It’s time to shine a light on what goes bump in the night.  Fire up the oven and bake, braise or raise the roof, go on a comfort food chase, whatever your coping mechanism might be, grab holt of it and create a dish, ghoulish or fanciful, don’t rightly matter none so long as you come on out, and join in the fun.

You should know the rules by now.  Cook with local ingredients if at all possible.  Don’t make yourself miserable.  Bring your smiles and a dish or a friend, (I didn’t go there you did) and show up.  Remember we can’t get to know you if you don’t come out to play.
