Get your French on!
Coq Au Vin with all the trimmings!
Chef Joe Bonaparte prepares this traditional dish born in the bulls-eye of comfort food. Get your beret, black leather, pompous attitude and come on out for a grand night of social frivolity and good ole peasant food pleasure. Smoking permitted outside. Hey one can only be so French, oui? Mas non? Yo!
Once again Steve and Geny Case of Pecan Lane Farms have graciously sourced the birds they raised for this grand tummy loving occasion. Raised on all organic feed in a ridiculously lavish setting that you or I could only dream of… their pastoral poultry farm is a gift for the table. You may remember their ducks from last year’s Duck Night. Are you Duck Worthy?
This is another Slow Food Charlotte Members first event, first dibs have been claimed, but we still have six or seven spots open, so join us, bail on the company Christmas party that you didn’t really want to go to in the first place. We’ll cap the peusdo-Francophile participants at 30, that’s trente, Jean Claude. Once you sign up we’ll give you the secret handshake and the French Underground rendez-vous locale.
Now that I’ve used all the French words I know, it’s time for you to RSVP.
Oh la la details…

7 PM until you can’t handle the complexities of conversation and culinary commotion.
An undisclosed location devoid of barking mad politico nut jobs to be communicated.
$40 and a bottle of wine, yeah, Burgundy will work ok, if you must. Else whatever you fancy.
