To help you get your own garden moving along, and to cut down on the amount of waste you dispose of in your household, come learn how to use kitchen scraps to grow your garden by creating hot batch compost. Vernette Price is working on her Master Composter designation, and wants to share your knowledge with you. We'll be creating a compost pile for The Tailgate garden and learning along with you. Vernette will begin her demo at 10:30 am and will be available to answer questions.

Before or after you watch the demo, shop for late spring produce, chicken, strawberries (while they last!), soap, tea, plants and other goodies!
