You're invited to attend a dinner party/cooking class like no other you've attended before: JUSTICE KITCHEN. Is the way you eat connected to the food riots in other parts of the world? Is there anything wrong with USDA's food pyramid? Do you think God cares about how you eat? And most importantly, what will you eat at the class!? Here's the trick: no one knows what is going to be served!
Our guests leading the class, Brooke and Jason Evans, will travel around town to find fresh, local ingredients to prepare a healthy and tasty meal for us. During the cooking demonstration, we will discuss how diet can change things, how food and spirituality intersect and much more! Each attendee will walk away with a full stomach, new insights, recipes, and hand-outs.
COST IS $20 per person to held cover the cost of buying the food ingredients locally and to help the Evans family with their travel costs, as they are on a cross-country trip researching for a book they are writing on communities of faith and the food they eat
